MUSEO ENZO FERRARI MODENA

The Enzo Ferrari Museum is located in Modena, just 20 kilometers from Maranello. The futuristic building that houses it takes the shape of a massive yellow hood, but with such a vibrant yellow that catches the eye due to the contrast it creates with the surrounding environment.

The Enzo Ferrari Birthplace Foundation – Museum was established in 2003 with the aim of showcasing the motor racing tradition of the Modena region and creating a museum complex dedicated to the figure of Enzo Ferrari in Modena. It was inaugurated on March 10, 2012.

Inside, there is a vast hall where various temporary exhibitions are set up, a small cinema that shows two rotating films dedicated to the life and history of Enzo Ferrari. Among the most significant automobiles from Ferrari's life, the founder's story unfolds – his role as a driver and creator of the Scuderia in the 1930s, and his role as a manufacturer from 1947. This story is also told through a spectacular video that immerses the audience, allowing them to place Enzo Ferrari in different eras, amidst drivers, car models, and notable personalities. Alongside this emotional journey, in the perfectly restored workshop of Enzo's father, there is the Ferrari Engine Museum. The area is divided into five sections: low-displacement engines, from 1 to 6 cylinders; the classic 12-cylinder engines; the 8-cylinder engines; the turbo engines; and finally, the Formula 1 section.

The journey continues in the building facing this immense pavilion, namely in the workshop where Enzo's father used to work, now perfectly restored.

Furthermore, the Museum houses a shop offering a wide range of official products and a bookstore that gathers the most important Ferrari publications.
